The Art of Her Deal

Alongside completed series, I am currently developing new work in watercolour and ink. The Art of Her Deal examines the limits of diplomacy, where external ideology confronts force, and where negotiation gives way to power.

The series explores the internal battle between light and dark, and the moment a woman recognizes that reason alone is not always sufficient to secure peace.

Rendered in watercolour and ink, the works consider strategy as lived consequence where ideals are tested, alliances fracture, and resolve is forged.

Medium and Dimension

Medium: Watercolour and ink on cold-pressed paper (300 g/m²)
Dimensions: A4
Series: 3 works

The Limits of Diplomacy

At a certain threshold, negotiation gives way to resolve. The sword here is not violence, but argument. It’s the moment when persuasion ends and position is held.
Points of Authority

Authority is formed at the meeting point of softness and severity, like opposing faces of the same coin.

Luminescence

The light is present, constant, and accessible.

What falters is not its reach, but the will to claim it.

The series closes where persuasion ends and choice begins.
