I draw and paint at the intersection of classical symbolism and contemporary life — examining power, intimacy, and the quiet negotiations that shape how we live and love. My work is shaped by classical art history and manga in equal measure. It’s figurative, narrative, and deliberately unhurried.

Amore, Potere, e Alleanza
A series exploring relational intelligence, womanly strategy, and the quiet negotiations that bind individuals, families, and alliances.
The works were exhibited in Rome at Via Margutta as a solo exhibition, and later as a curated mini-solo presentation for International Women’s Day (2025) at Galleria Internazionale Area Contessa Arte.
Rendered in a figurative style informed by manga and classical symbolism, the series uses narrative drawing to examine intimacy as power, and power as care.

The Abyss
Three figures stand in a forest, articulating a central choice: to enter an alliance for protection, or to pursue love in its unbound form.
But, where does protection end, and surrender begin?
Swallowed by The Beast
A woman surrenders to power, allowing herself to be enveloped by it. Though metaphorically swallowed by the beast, she remains protected within its embrace.
The Temptation of Power
The Holy Matrimony
She walks away from temptation, leaving behind an impulsive passion in favour of something more calculated.
A union dictated by power and strategy, where love is not the driving force, but rather a tool to build a larger alliances.
Surrender
She submits to authority, but does submission bring happiness or just silent resignation?
Seduction
Seduction satisfies immediate desire; it does not sustain alliance.
Power and Security
In the end, power and security win out over love and temporary desire.
On Romance and Intellect
A final reflection on the coexistence of romantic and intellectual love. A woman may hold both, yet one often quietly prevails.
Together, the series invites reflection on how love, power, and alliance are negotiated — not in theory, but in the quiet decisions that shape a woman’s life.
The Art of Her Deal
L’arte di fare i suoi affari
Alongside completed series, I am currently developing new work in watercolour and ink. The Art of Her Deal examines the limits of diplomacy, where external ideology confronts force, and where negotiation gives way to power.
The series explores the internal battle between light and dark, and the moment a woman recognizes that reason alone is not always sufficient to secure peace.
Rendered in watercolour and ink, the works consider strategy as lived consequence where ideals are tested, alliances fracture, and resolve is forged.

What falters is not its reach, but the will to claim it.
The series closes where persuasion ends and choice begins.

Fioritura primaverile
Spring Blossom explores sensuality as a state of becoming. The body is revealed in moments of emergence and rest, where touch, breath, and quiet desire signal renewal. These works dwell in the softness of beginnings, where energy awakens gently rather than announces itself. The process of rebirth is a metaphor for a new state of mind.

A figure emerges from the shell, marking a quiet rebirth. Not of the body, but of the mind. A moment when thought softens, and new awareness takes shape.
Cherry Blossom Fairy
Resting among the branches, she gathers a new current of energy. Petals fall from her open palm, signalling renewal before movement.
De Animalibus
This watercolor painting draws inspiration from Aristotle’s De Animalibus, reflecting on the quiet observation of living beings and the boundaries between nature, myth, and human interpretation. Set underwater, the mermaid and swan embody emotional detachment, transformation, and the contemplative gaze of natural philosophy.
Spring Blossom explores emergence, rest, and the subtle return of inner vitality.
